Mike Robinson - Training Manager

Mike joined Lyon Equipment in 2011 starting his career as the Customer Service and Technical Information Manager, he transferred to the Training team in 2017. Prior to working for Lyon Mike worked as an industrial rope access technician on a broad variety of projects including structural repairs and inspection, geo-technical and glazing work. 

Mike is an IRATA Level 3 Rope Access Supervisor and Instructor and leads our rope access training programme, he is also a member of the IRATA Equipment and Standards Committee. Additionally, he specialises in the development and delivery of our PPE inspection courses to diverse sectors. Mike maintains his involvement in industrial rope access through regular work on the rail infrastructure enabling him to contribute real-world experience and knowledge to our customers.

Outside of work when time permits, Mike enjoys running, cycling and field archery.
