Matt Butler - Trainer
Matt joined the Training team in 2021 following working as an outdoor training and development instructor and event medic for leading providers in outdoor extreme sports events. He has worked in a variety of outdoor centres, climbing walls and adventure parks across the UK in particular working with and developing new activities for disabled clients.
Matt is a member of Langdale and Ambleside Mountain Rescue Team leading training in rope rescue, swiftwater and flood rescue. Matt is passionate about instructing and joins our team to contribute his wealth of experience to the rope rescue, adventure activities and PPE inspection course portfolio.
In his spare time Matt heads for the fells to pursue his love of running and climbing.
