Anchor Placement
For anyone who has responsibility for inspection, testing or placement of anchors for personal fall protection. This could include building designers, rope access technicians or individuals needing to compliment other aspects of work at height safety systems.
Who is this course for?
Anyone who has responsibility for inspection, testing or placement of anchors for personal fall protection. This could include building designers, rope access technicians or individuals needing to compliment other aspects of work at height safety systems.
In depth training to enable personnel to correctly install, test and certify Petzl mechanical and chemically fixed anchors in accordance with BS 7883, for personal protection against falls from a height. If you install eyebolt anchors conforming to BS EN 795 you need to be aware of good, accepted practice for the installation and testing of such anchors.
Prerequisites
Previous experience or knowledge of eyebolt installation is an advantage but not essential. The minimum age of candidates is 18 years.

Assessment
The course assessment is carried out by Lyon staff. Installation and testing of resin and expansion anchors as well as a short written test.
Certification
A certificate of attendance and test along with an ID card record of training will be issued to successful candidates. Certificate valid for three years from date of assessment.
