Customising is a little different from our bespoke designed product service. With customising we take a standard off the shelf item and make it visually stand out as something that is yours.
Many companies benefit from customised products and Lyon Equipment can customise a large range of products in a number of eye catching ways.
Our experience with the products and materials we handle on a daily basis means that we can usually offer a solution be it on the simplest of our sewn bag range to the most technical of hardware.
We offer a number of different marking processes which include:
-Heat transfer graphics.
-Sewn on badges.
-Pressure set adhesive transfers.
All customisation work is carried out at our manufacturing facility at Tebay to ensure a quality result to our customers exact requirements.
More information on our customisation services can be found below or by contacting us.
Commercial and/or compliance reasons require information to be permanently attached to products. We can sew labels with your information into most products during the manufacturing process.
If you wear many hats but want only one helmet this cover allows you to enjoy the benefits of a Petzl helmet in whichever colour your on-site role dictates.
This service is only available for new, unused and still packaged Petzl helmets delivered by you to us. Stickers are not available separately and are not suitable for pre-2011 Petzl helmets.
Send us your request by fax or email and artwork by e-mail (quoting your order reference). EPS or Adobe Illustrator file preferred but JPEG is acceptable. A position guide for helmet marking is available to download here.
We process your artwork and send you a proof copy with a unique reference number for your design.
If this meets your requirements sign and return it (if not, contact us to discuss further).
Production will start when the design is agreed and your helmets have been delivered to us
For repeat orders simply quote the design reference (there is no need to re-send artwork).
-Your design must fit within the position guides.
-Clear background is standard and so certain colours may not stand out.
-See our recommended helmet colour choices on the proof or ask for a white background.
-Print resolution is 300 Dpi.
-Solid colours only.
-Exact colour match cannot be guaranteed.
-Reflective print is not possible but a reflective background is.
-Once proof is signed and returned any subsequent changes will be chargeable. Once helmets are stickered they cannot be returned for adjustments or re-stickering.
We offer a bespoke marking service on all bags in the Lyon range.
What we need from you:
-Artwork, preferably in EPS or Illustrator format, using solid colours.
-Images must fit into the approved areas which will be provided.
-Failure to provide a correct image will result in the artwork being returned.
-For more information please contact us.
Artwork and processing requirements are the same as for helmets. The artwork setup fee applies unless you already have exactly the same design already set up for a helmet.
Markings must fit within a 10cm x 10cm square. On smaller bags this area may be reduced (if this is the case we’ll let you know when you order). Reflective backgrounds are not possible but a reflective border usually is.
This service is available for new, unused Petzl, Foin, Maillon and Lyon metal items. Batch or sequential numbering and logos can be re-produced.
Sizes vary depending on the available flat space on the item. For logos an artwork charge is applicable, once your artwork has been processed we will send you a proof document which MUST be signed and returned before we can start production.
Examples are shown in the gallery above, if you are unsure we recommend buying a sample item before ordering in quantity.
Lyon Equipment offer sewn terminations on a selection of low stretch ropes.
Each rope termination is covered by a transparent protective sleeve to help protect the stitching against abrasion and the ingress of dirt.
This sleeve secures a label with a unique termination identification number and date. A second heat shrunk label provides details of manufacturer’s name, rope standard, diameter, length, strength and batch number.
Sewn terminations are much stronger than the best tied knot and far less bulky. They are not energy absorbing.
We can offer more traditional knotted termination on all our ropes. Each knot is pre-tensioned and a protective sheath is then added.
