Rope Rescue Instructor
Duration - 3 Days :: Course Cost - £560 plus VAT
The course will provide the skills and knowledge necessary to enable candidates to plan and deliver training and assessment at rope rescue operator level to personnel who are required to operate safely and effectively during rope rescue activities in the workplace, whether that be a ‘built’ or ‘natural’ environment.
The programme includes methods of training delivery and assessment for both theoretical and practical sessions relevant to rope rescue. Safe Systems of Work for training delivery, management of training and risk assessment for the delivery of practical training are all included.
Applicants for this course should already have considerable experience of work at height and rope rescue. Ideally, course applicants will have completed the Lyon Equipment Rope Rescue Supervisor course (or equivalent) within the previous 3 years.
Following assessment, successful candidates will be issued with a Lyon Equipment Rope Rescue Instructor certificate and an ID card record of training, valid for 3 years.
