IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING THE PETZL SHUNT.

Petzl Shunt PETZL have placed an announcement on their web site and Facebook page regarding the use of their SHUNT ascender as a back-up device when fitted with a tow cord.

This updated technical information is of importance to anyone who currently uses the SHUNT in this specific configuration.

The statement, dated 10^th January 2012, is available to read or download and is in two parts; the core statement and a list of frequently asked questions. Please take time to read both sections thoroughly.
