Work at Height and Rescue Courses

What is special about Work at Height?
Work at Height may expose workers to particularly severe risks to their health and safety, notably to the risks of falls, which are a major cause of fatal and serious injuries.

Precautions must be taken where a person could fall from a height. Consideration should also be made where a person may be working on a horizontal surface but a fall over an edge is possible, for example a flat roof or quarry edge.

Lyon Equipment offers training courses designed to provide the worker / operative with the appropriate knowledge and skills to work safely and efficiently at height. Our courses cover the following areas:

• Rope access
• Work positioning
• Roof top safety

• Restricted space access

Work at Height Rescue - 2 days (course code LT12)

It is a requirement of current legislation to allow for a rescue plan to be put into place for those who work at height.

Sometimes a rescue can only be undertaken by other workers at height and training in the use of specific rescue techniques is therefore essential.

This course is for workers with experience of working at height to undertake rescue of incapacitated or injured workers.

This course can be run in conjunction with the 1 day work at height course.
