Technical Symposium 2008 - Fall Arrest: From Anchor to Harness
Held on the 16th & 17th September the event attracted a sell out audience of over 180 delegates from around the world with industries as diverse as theatre, arboriculture, industrial rope access and professional rescue all being represented.
This year’s event combined a stimulating mix of practical presentations with lectures from some of the UK’s leading authorities on a variety of work at height related topics.
Included this year were dramatic demonstrations illustrating the risks of misusing personal fall protection equipment in MEWP’s, how Fire & Rescue services have utilized the latest Aerial Ladder Platform technology to provide rescue solutions for difficult locations and the very latest developments in arboricultural access using rope based systems.
