objective of Management and employees at all levels.

The Company also understands the importance of respecting and protecting the environment. We
therefore run our business paying full regard to health & safety issues, and to environmental
considerations.

We aim to minimise our health & safety concerns and our environmental impact as follows:

•    By compliance with all relevant health and safety and environmental legislation.
•    Through the establishment and regular review of health and safety and environmental objectives.
•    By taking steps to prevent injury, ill health, pollution and waste.
•    By providing and maintaining safe and healthy working conditions.
•    By ensuring that our staff have the appropriate knowledge and equipment to reduce risks to themselves and others of injury, ill health or pollution of the environment.
•    By striving to improve our health and safety record, eliminating or reducing risks of injury or ill health.
•    By minimising potentially adverse environmental impacts arising from our business operations.
•    By open discussion between staff and others, including suppliers, on health and safety and environmental matters.
•    By the appointment of managers with day to day responsibility for administering this policy, ensuring that health & safety and environmental issues remain central concerns of the Company.

Quality Policy Statement

•    Lyon Equipment Limited has implemented a quality assurance system to meet the needs of BS EN ISO 9001: 2008   “Quality Management Systems - requirements”.
•    Adherence to this policy involves everyone in the company. Directors and all employees, whatever their individual roles, are required to work to achieve the objectives of this policy.
•    Employees and our customers are encouraged to make suggestions that will improve our level of quality.
•    The Quality Manager based at Lyon Equipment Limited is the appointed management representative for monitoring and ensuring the correct and effective implementation of The Lyon Equipment Limited Quality Management System as a whole.
•    Lyon Equipment Limited will define and manage the processes necessary to ensure that all products and services conform to customer requirements.

The Lyon Equipment Limited management system will be implemented, maintained, its effectiveness continually improved and have the full support of top management. Specific health and safety, quality and environmental objectives will be set and reviewed to support the aim of
continual improvement.

All employees and sub-contractors are required to co-operate in the implementation of these
policies, ensuring that their own work is carried out without risk to themselves and others, including
members of the public, or within reason, to the environment. The policy is available to the public on
our website and is communicated directly to staff.

The Board of Directors has ultimate responsibility for these policies.
